Iran Visa
I went to see EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) activities in Qalga and Pagman with my boss. I think I introduced Qalga in this website about a year ago. It is a beautiful place having a Ashinoko-like lake with clean water, which is the colour of lapis. However, there are still lots of UXOs, and people are suffering and expecting the land to be cleard as soon as possible. EOD activities need a different kind of expertise from mine clearance. Operators need to learn about UXOs and to have a certain level of qualifications. In addition, experience is very important to be an EOD operator. If you see a UXO, it's difficult to make a dicision: should I move? or should I demolish it as it is? Only expertised and experienced operators can make a right decision. This is a hard job.

I came back to the office afternoon, and received a report from our staff. I thought I could get Iran Visa today, but I couldn't! One of our staff explained me that I need to submit a copy of the return ticket to Iran, and also need to show the evidence of my blood type. He said that nowadays the Islamic Republic of Iran had been getting more and more strict to receive people from Afghanistan. Iran are trying to kick out Afghan refugees, seeing them as a reason for deterioration of crime rate in Iran. As well as Iran, Pakistan is closing down Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan. I should have researched more about the procedure to get Iran Visa in Afghanistan.

I just want to go there for sightseeing, not for permanent stay or working. Now, I am planning to explain to officers of the embassy of Iran that this trip is merely for sightseeing, and that my nationality is Japanese, which they should know from my passport, and that I am not going to live in Iran, showing my "return" airflight ticket. The thing is that this ticket says "NON-REFUNDABLE". There are only 10 days left until the departure for Masshad. Hoping that everything's gonna be alright.....

P.S.
Thank you very much for advices from some of you on my broken PC.
I worked out to repair it, but IE cannot still be opened. I will keep trying.
Anyways, it was so kind of you!
